(we freeze water in the plastic jugs and for many of the dogs outside in the summer
heat we will cut the bottle open and dump the chunk of ice in their bucket.
We are in need of a very large cooler to carry more ice and water)
Please know that many times the animals are not the only ones needing a little extra
help. Some of our pet owners have absolutely nothing and I have personally
opened a refrigerator that had no food in it. We immediately bought this man
enough food for a week until we found more donations. In the summer we collect
bottled water and sports drinks because many of these people have no a/c and they
are so hot.
We are always looking for extra items for the owners as well.

I have learned to never look down at those who are less fortunate, because we are
all just one paycheck away from where they are. Walk with them, not above them.
Beau's owner is extremely
handicapped and can't work. He
has a hard time feeding himself
and making ends meet on a very
limited disability check. He loves
his dog and this boy has been by
his side through many tough times

to make the difficult decision to
surrender Beau to Animal Control.
